Most popular baby names of 1967

In 1967, the most popular names for US babies were Michael for boys (82,412 babies, 4.7% of boys) and Lisa for girls (52,436 babies, 3.2% of girls). The rest of the top five were David, James, John and Robert for boys and Kimberly, Michelle, Mary and Susan for girls. SSA recorded 4,551 different boy names and 7,852 different girl names that year.
