Most popular baby names of 1910

In 1910, the most popular names for US babies were John for boys (11,450 babies, 5.9% of boys) and Mary for girls (22,848 babies, 5.8% of girls). The rest of the top five were James, William, Robert and George for boys and Helen, Margaret, Dorothy and Ruth for girls. SSA recorded 1,839 different boy names and 2,790 different girl names that year.
